Christmas at the University of Lincoln
Christmas is a time for celebration, fun and relaxation for everyone. If you are planning to stay in Lincoln this Christmas we’ve put together a huge list of information for you, from fun events to emergency contacts and everything we could think of in-between! This means that you will never be short of things to do!
We’ve separated it into two categories:
Things to Do – a run down of festive fun going on in Lincoln and the surrounding area over December and the holidays.
Things to Know – our Student Survival Guide to Winter, where you can find important information about what to do in an emergency or where to find support when we are closed.
Don’t forget that the University and all areas of Student Services are closed from Friday 22nd December until Thursday 4th January, which means that we won’t be able to return your calls or answer your emails during this time.
For international students, UKCISA have created a guide on what Christmas in the UK is all about: UK Christmas survival guide for international students.
Hosting over Christmas: If you are interested in hosting an international student for some time over the Christmas period or if you are an international student who would like to be invited to a hosts home there is limited time left to apply. Visit http://www.hostuk.org/ for more details.
We hope that you have a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
