Distressing thoughts and suicide can be a very difficult subject to talk about for many people. If you are experiencing some unwanted thoughts, you may also be experiencing a range of accompanying emotions including low mood, hopelessness, shame, anxiety or even anger. This is perfectly normal.
Experiencing distressing thoughts or suicidal thoughts can feel very isolating, and it may be challenging to approach someone to talk about how you are feeling for a variety of reasons. However the Student Wellbeing Centre is here to listen and will try to assist you where possible.
