The University of Lincoln welcomes applications from students currently enrolled at another institution. We would recommend that anyone considering transferring between institutions seeks guidance from:
- The College/School Office and Advice Service at your current institution.
- UCAS
- University of Lincoln Admissions: admissions@lincoln.ac.uk or 01522 886097
When you have made your decision, you will need to apply through UCAS to the University of Lincoln. You will need to withdraw from your current institution before you join the University of Lincoln but you should make sure you have completed all necessary assessments successfully if your offer of a place is conditional upon you doing so.
Advanced Standing
Advanced standing is the recognition of existing study you have undertaken and allowing you to use this credit towards a University of Lincoln qualification. Further information is available using the Academic policy summary link below or by emailing admissions@lincoln.ac.uk.
Midlands Credit Compass
The University of Lincoln is part of the Midlands Credit Compass along with five other Universities: Birmingham City, Coventry, Derby, Nottingham Trent, and Wolverhampton. This is for students that have studied at one of these institutions and have achieved their credit within the last 5 years. The Midlands Credit Compass makes it easier to return or transfer to one of these universities.
