The Sexual and Domestic Abuse Support Service based within Student Wellbeing will re-open with the rest of the centre on Thursday 2nd January. If you would like to speak to someone in person for support, you can visit us from then.

You can also report incidents to us online either anonymously or with contact details for support by clicking on our online reporting link here. Please note any reports will be picked up after 2nd January. Please also note that these reports are to access support and will not start a University Formal Complaints procedure.

If you feel in immediate danger/risk, please always call the emergency services on 999.

Residence Life Team

If you’re staying in University managed accommodation over the festive break, you can access support from the Residence Life Team. They are a diverse team of current students, who are there as part of the University’s 24/7 support. You can speak to the team about anything that is worrying you by calling 01522 835550 or sending an email to reslife@lincoln.ac.uk.

Lincoln SU

You Students’ Union have a number of events on over the festive period, which you can look at on their events page.

Accessing Medical Help

If you need urgent medical help, use the NHS 111 online service. If you cannot get help online, call 111.

If it’s a serious or life-threatening emergency, call 999.

A festive evening of carols and live performances. Tea and coffee provided. (If the weather is too bad, it will be hosted in the Minerva Building atrium)

Night Light Cafes

The Night Light Cafes are an out of hours, non clinical support service for people who are struggling with their mental health. These safe spaces are hosted by teams of trained volunteers, who provide a warm welcome alongside a listening service and signposting advice. Crisis Cafes are open in different locations around Lincoln on certain evenings during the week and phone support is also available. The cafes will remain open over the Christmas period, including Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve and Day.
