If you wish to transfer programmes at the University there are things you need to consider before making your final decision:

Your student loan eligibility may be affected if you transfer programmes. Further information is available from the University’s Advice Service.

  • Credit Transfer – you may be able to transfer modules.
  • Additional Work – you may need to catch up missed coursework
  • Before completing the online transfer form you must have met with the Programme Leader of the course that you wish to transfer into in order to discuss your suitability for the course and modules you will be studying.
  • Transfer requests by Tier 4 visa students are subject to assessment by the Tier 4 Compliance team. This is to ensure that the transfer request meets the Home Office requirements.

This list is not exhaustive. If you require any further guidance before making your decision, you can discuss this with your Programme Leader and/or your College or School Office. You can also speak to Student Services for advice.

Alternatively, you can email studentrecords@lincoln.ac.uk

Once you have made your decision, you will need to complete the online transfer form:
