Student Services - Estranged Student Solidarity Week (2)

Am I an Estranged Student?

If you are studying or planning to study at University without the support of your family, you could be an estranged student. You could be estranged if:

  • You have no communicative relationship with either living biological parent and this is unlikely to change.
  • You have been disowned by your family, or you have chosen to remove yourself from your family situation.

Estrangement can happen before or during your University studies, and it is important to remember that Student Services are here to support you throughout your journey at the University of Lincoln.
