The Advice Service is an independent service located within the Student Support Centre.  We offer a free confidential and impartial legal service to all students at the University of Lincoln.

Our advice covers a wide range of areas including housing, employment, university issues such as interruption and extenuating circumstances and much more.

As we are licensed by the Financial Conduct Authority, we are able to provide debt and money advice, and can also help with any welfare and disability benefit queries. For more information regarding the Financial Conduct Authority, please see below:

The Advice Service also administer the University of Lincoln Financial Assistance Funds and the advisers can help with any student funding queries.

As well as providing specialist, professional one to one advice, we also run preventative workshops.  For more information regarding the workshops, please click here.

If you are an International student and you require advice regarding your immigration status or visa, the Advisers within the team are the only people within the University who can legally provide you with immigration advice.
