Certificate of study – This letter confirms you are studying at the University of Lincoln. It includes the name of your course and the start and end dates of the course and your home and term-time addresses.

Bank letter – When opening a student bank account you may be asked to prove that you are a student at the University of Lincoln. Please remember to include the name of your bank on the form.

Council Tax letter – Full-time students at the University are exempt from paying council tax. You may not need a letter for Lincolnshire City Council as they will request the information directly from the University. However, if you do require a letter, you can request one.

Travel – If you are travelling out of the UK you may need a Certificate of Study to apply for a travel visa for the country you are visiting.

Invitation letter – This is a letter confirming you are a student at the University of Lincoln and would like to invite family or friends to visit the UK. Please include the full names of the people you are inviting.

Graduation Invitation letter – This letter is for when a student would like to invite a friend or family member to attend their graduation and they need it to include with their application for a travel visa. Please include the full names of the people you are inviting.
