There are several different types of personality disorder and symptoms vary depending on the type, however, a person with a personality disorder may experience difficulties controlling their reactions, emotions and impulses during certain situations.

A Personality Disorder is something that has to be diagnosed by a medical professional. If you are worried about your mental health, then please make an appointment to discuss this with your GP as soon as possible.

If you have been diagnosed with a personality disorder from a medical professional, the Student Wellbeing Centre can assist you in setting up relevant academic support.
